Here at Realism Training we specialise in delivering high quality training in managing Violence, Aggression and Harassment in the workplace
If staff roles bring them into face to face contact with Service users/members of the public then at some point they may need to manage situations which are difficult and challenging. The aim of our Personal Safety Awareness training (keeping safe) is to ensure that, if it was to happen your employees have the right skills to manage the situation at that moment at that time, ‘how we react to someone who is upset, angry or aggressive will affect the overall outcome’.
We take pride in tailoring our courses to suit the service being delivered and the type of incidents your staff have or may experience.
To equip staff with the knowledge and skills to understand their personal safety and manage difficult/challenging situations whilst carrying out their job role.
• To be aware of local Violence & Aggression policies and procedures.
• To identify potentially dangerous situations.
• To have the skills to manage the situation in a safe and professional way.
• To be self-aware of how we react when put into a situation we find difficult/challenging
Wrexham Social Services March 2021 “Excellent, it was a really useful course and definitely worthwhile and something that would benefit everybody. I also took away from this some useful tools that I can use with my young people on working on their own self-awareness and their own behaviour. Secondly the instructor was amazing, Marcus Davies, the way in which he delivered the course was second to none. He was engaging, friendly and really made the course fun but with a serious undertone. I think everyone on the course came away with a lot and it definitely gave us food for thought”
